About Muscle Team® 2010
Muscle Team® 2010 is a high profile social event to raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). These funds provide research and services for over forty neuromuscular diseases including ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). The concept of Muscle Team® 2010 is to gather top athletes and pair them with a MDA Buddy, a local child living with a neuromuscular disease.
At Muscle Team® 2010, you and your guests will have access to professional athletes, top business executives, fine food, beverages, unique entertainment and the chance to create truly special memories. The evening also includes numerous interactive activities as well as a silent and live auction showcasing unique sports memorabilia. |
About MDA
The Muscular Dystrophy Association is a dedicated partnership of scientists and citizens aimed at finding effective treatments and cures for over 40 neuromuscular diseases. MDA is one of the world’s leading national health agencies, fostering research and patient care. MDA programs are funded by individual, private contributors; the Association does not seek governmental or United Way funding.
MDA provides HELP and HOPE to the families served through a program of comprehensive health care services and research for a cure. Services include MDA funded clinics which offer diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitative
care. Additional services include support groups and MDA Summer Camp. Other services include access to a national equipment loan program, assistance with durable medical equipment repairs,
seasonal and H1N1 flu shots and transitional resources for young
people entering adulthood. |
